As I press send on this blog post there is just 3 weeks until the new baby arrives... Ok, I know the stork doesn't always stick to his designated delivery date, but with nothing else to go on... it's 3 weeks today!
I faintly remember the sleepless nights... I mean, I'm shattered every day now but 6 hours a night will definitely feel like a luxury as soon as the newest on drops into our lives.
The past 9 months have been crazy, thinking back to when we first found out so much has happened.
Right now, I'm feeling great in the gym. The balance of training and food seems to be in the sweet spot right now. 6kg in 8 weeks gained and feeling stronger than ever. The numbers are going up session by session and I'm seeing my body change for the better aesthetically.
With my main goal being weight gain, I have to try and steer clear from too much high intensity stuff, which is so hard when I see what the days workout is at CrossFit Huntsman. Training alone is a tough slog, I love the group stuff so I'm making sure I get a Chipper Tuesday or a Interval Weight Training session in each week to keep the soul happy.
So 3 weeks it is guys.... Dad Life Mark 2... Let's go!
